PIF Sydney Charity Regatta 2020

Bonjour! The PIF Sydney Charity Regatta is back at a beautiful new venue and with a French Riviera theme.

 


Join your colleagues from across the property and construction industry as we bring St. Tropez to Rushcutters Bay for our annual charity regatta, now relocated to the magnificent Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA). Set sail at this premier industry event on Sydney Harbour to raise funds to build homes for homeless youth.

Your team and clients will love this spectacular event on the water followed by our post-race Soirée at the CYCA, the home of the Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.

 


Don’t miss out on this fabulous day of networking, fun and fundraising as we recreate the joie de vivre of the Côte d'Azur right here in Sydney.

How to book

Corporate Entries

  1. Complete the online Corporate Entry Form before Friday 27 March, 2020 Click here.

  2. Include the number of people sailing on your boat. (Note - everyone on your boat gets entry to the post-race Soirée).

  3. Apply your discount code (for PIF Corporate Donors only).

  4. Pay via Credit Card.

  5. To finalise your registration everyone on board your vessel must complete a Statement of Waiver Form. You will not be allowed to sail unless everyone has signed this form. (Available January 2020).

  6. If you wish to make any changes after registering please contact us at pifnsw@pif.com.au or on 02 9241 6000.

Single Entries

Fees and Charges

Corporate Entries 

  • Regatta Entry Fee is the charge to have a boat take part as either a racing or spectator boat: $2,700.
  • Sailor Fee is the amount each participant must pay to be on a boat (this is in addition to the Regatta Entry Fee): $290.

Note - Corporate Entries must arrange their own onboard catering. All onboard catering requires should go to our preferred caterer, Blond Catering at CYCA 02 8292 7892 or email: sales@blondcatering.com.au.

 

Boat Hire Fees
 

If you do not have your own boat you can request that PIF source a boat for you from our pool of donated boats; an additional charge will apply dependent on the type of boat required. The following fees are a guide:

  • Small Boat (max 10 onboard inc. crew) - up to $2,500 + GST.
  • Larger Boats (over 10 onboard inc. crew) - from $5,000 to $10,000 + GST.

Alternatively, you can contact a boat charter company to hire of a suitable vessel. (list coming soon).

 

Single Entries (*Available late January 2020)

  • Single Sailor Ticket – if you wish to sail but are not part of a corporate entry we can place you on a boat with onboard food and beverages included: $500 per person.

Sailing to build homes for homeless young people 

By participating in the PIF Sydney Charity Regatta you will be part of our drive to reduce youth homelessness.  All profits from this premier networking event on beautiful Sydney Harbour will help us reach our target of constructing 125 bedrooms by 2021. So far, we’ve built 56 and we’re committed to reaching our goal thanks to your support!  We currently have projects underway in Kingsford, Toongabbie, Macarthur Park and Bondi. Further information 

  • The Bob Ell Regatta Cup will be awarded to the overall winner. 

  • Trophies will be awarded to first across the line in each division. 

  • The Division 1 winner will be awarded The Shemara Cup (in memory of Vince Frost, co-founder of the PIF Regatta with co-founder John Austin). 

  • Ensure you make contact with your skipper well in advance of the day to ensure both parties understand each other's expectations. 

  • Wear shoes with non-marking soles suitable for sailing.
